Edgy Planet's Making Connection to Hiring Managers

The founder of Edgy Planet Consulting is proud to announce the launch of www.edgyplanet.com in partnership with Nautech IT Solutions. Edgy Planet Consulting's mission is to provide consulting services on how to network like a high level executive. The focus is on job seekers, small business owners, and sales organizations while using social networking tools to identify and start conversations with key decision makers.
Edgy Planet Consulting provides their clients with effective strategies to leverage tools like Linked In, Jigsaw, and Twitter. Although many people are aware of and participate in these social networks, they struggle to develop a cohesive strategy to make their efforts profitable. In a recent interview, Edgy Planet President Christopher Kelly stated, "We're just scratching the surface. I think the awareness of social networks is growing. However, I find most individuals and most companies lack a social networking strategy with regard to specific sites and specific goals. Social networking is not a one-size-fits-all proposition."
Edgy Planet will place a strong emphasis on helping job seekers use social networking tools. Given the high unemployment rates today, many people are struggling to find suitable employment via traditional methods. Edgy Planet will offer a course titled, "making Connections to Hiring Manager" to help job seekers obtain the necessary skills to contact hiring managers at hiring companies using social networking. "The biggest myth in job hunting is the send button on job posting sites will get your resume to the hiring manager," says Christopher Kelly. "Edgy Planet Consulting will teach job seekers how to use social networking as a platform to have live conversations with hiring managers while increasing the number of interviews."
Edgy Planet successfully hosted their first seminar on June 15 in Andover MA. The next seminar will be in Reading MA on Wednesday, July 1. Several face to face seminars will be announced over the next 10 days in or around the Greater Boston area at a cost of $50 per person and all pre-registrations must take place on the website. Edgy Planet will begin to host virtual classes during the month of July.
